Dual Enrollment Program

Program Overview

A key component of the LSU College Readiness Program, Dual Enrollment allows high school students to take LSU courses right in their own classrooms, earning both LSU and high school credits simultaneously. Dual Enrollment courses can be paired with regular high school classes, high school honors courses, or even high school AP courses.

Benefits

Affordable access to high quality college-level courses that expose students to the high demands and challenges of undergraduate curriculum.

The Choice-Credit Modality offers no-risk access to college-level courses. At the end of the course, LSU will provide each student with a letter grade that they may choose whether or not to transcribe to their permanent LSU transcript.

The Traditional-Credit Modality mimics the on-campus college experience, whereby all final grades are transcribed on an LSU transcript.
